Print Care and Best Practice

•Although our packaging is robust please inspect your print on arrival for any damage and notify our customer care team with any concerns.

•Once your print is out of the packaging we suggest you frame it quickly or store it flat in a dry, moisture free space out of harms way until you can get it framed.

•To help prevent fading and discolouration, we recommend that you avoid hanging the piece in direct sunlight, near naked flames or above radiators.

•When possible try to avoid hanging the piece in humid conditions or where moisture is likely to penetrate the porous paper - this will cause the paper to buckle and warp.

•Our Prints look great when professionally framed and will also drop right into standard high-street frames. If framing a piece yourself, we recommend using archival materials such as acid free backing board, acid free mounts, photo corners or acid free framing tape. Remember to seal in the back of your frame with acid free tape to prevent dust and dirt particles getting in - it’s a nightmare finding trapped dust in a frame once you’ve finished framing!

•Travelling - if you are moving house, moving your artwork or putting your art into storage, we suggest the following preparation method :

  - Sandwich the painting/print between two sheets of acid free paper/cardboard/foam-board.

  - Wrap the work carefully in 3 layers of thick bubble wrap and finish with a layer of sturdy brown paper for protection.

  - Do not allow any sticky tape or packing tape to touch the surface of the painting

  - Add extra bubble wrap or cardboard corners over corners of frames for added protection.
